Welcome! The Drowning Prevention of the Low Country and the Golden Isles, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting water safety and preventing drowning incidents. Our mission is to create awareness about the importance of water safety and provide resources and education to the residents of the Low Country and the Golden Isles. Together, we can save lives and make a difference.
Community Education
We the American Red Cross's Basic Water Rescue Course and educational programs for individuals of all ages to raise awareness and impart essential drowning prevention skills.

We offer swimming lessons for children and adults, teaching them essential swimming skills and water safety practices to prevent accidents in the water.

Safety Equipment Distribution
To enhance water safety, we distribute life jackets and other essential safety equipment to individuals and families in need.
We have water water landyards to give to those upon request.

Who We Are
The Drowning Prevention of the Low Country and the Golden Isles is a non-profit organization committed to reducing the incidence of drowning and preventing tragedy around water in the Low Country and the Golden Isles, also known as the coast of Georgia. Our organization believes that every life lost to drowning is preventable, and we strive to educate and empower individuals to make safe decisions around water. With the support of the general public, we can continue to make a positive impact and save lives.
